It took only my first cruise in 1992 on board the Majesty of the Seas to convince me that I wanted to become a travel agent. In my childhood I clipped out order forms from my mother’s magazines to send away for travel brochures, which led to a desk full of brochures, and a bulletin board announcing my favorite destination, which by the way was Las Vegas. Now after seventeen years in the cruise and travel industry I have amassed a great deal of personal knowledge and a wealth of opportunities from travel to some of my dream destinations. Those include South America, Tahiti, Hawaii, Europe, South Africa, the Mediterranean, South East Asia, Egypt and Israel, with many stories to be told about each and every place I have been with my partner of twenty years this October. To celebrate our 20th, we plan to spend ten days in Bali.
When not traveling I enjoy my two Jack Russell terriers Lucy and Lilly, (the girls) also gardening and decorating the house and of course my cars.
I look forward to continuing my travels and education while working as an independent agent for Alyse and Travelwize.
A native Californian born in Northern California (Arcata), I moved to Santa Rosa in 1981 opening the "new" Macy's in the Santa Rosa Plaza in Men's sportswear. I continued working in the clothing industry, wrapping up that career with Emporium Capwell as a Men' Department Manager. I then took a job as a Salon Coordinator for one of Marin's top Salon's. After several years of running my own Housekeeping Service, I was hit by the cruise and travel bug and it has stayed with me ever since.
